Job Description:
As a Senior Associate in the Litigation department, you will be responsible for managing complex litigation cases, providing strategic legal advice, and representing clients in high-stakes disputes. You will work closely with our partners and associates to deliver top-notch legal services and achieve favorable outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead litigation cases from inception to resolution
- Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare legal documents
- Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and mediations
- Collaborate with partners and other associates on case strategy
- Mentor and supervise junior associates and paralegals
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New York State Bar
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience in a reputable law firm
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex litigation cases
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to client service and achieving excellent results
