Job Description:
As an Associate in the Family Office department, you will provide legal support and advice on estate planning, trust administration, and tax planning. You will work with high-net-worth individuals and families to help them manage and protect their wealth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with estate planning, trust administration, and tax planning
- Draft wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents
- Conduct legal research and provide analysis on complex legal issues
- Advise clients on tax implications and strategies to minimize liabilities
- Collaborate with partners and senior associates on client matters
- Maintain client relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction
- Stay current on changes in estate planning and tax laws
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New York State Bar
- 2-4 years of experience in estate planning, trust administration, or tax planning
- Strong analytical, research, and drafting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Commitment to providing exceptional client service
